Service Advisor Scheme (6 Weeks over 2 years)


Benefits

This Scheme lasts 2 years, and the benefits to your Centre after each year are:

  • On completion of their first year, Apprentices will have a basic understanding of vehicle technology, customer handling techniques and service reception processes.
  • By the end of the second year, Apprentices will have advanced through the basics of customer handling techniques, service operations and vehicle technology to the more intricate skills of identifying customer needs, co-ordinating the movements of customer vehicles through the service centre and co-ordinating workshop utilisation.
  • At graduation, Apprentices are fully qualified Toyota Approved Service Advisors with NVQ Level 3. They will be fully conversant with the day-to-day operation of the Service Department.

Education

The Service Advisor Scheme is a combination of theoretical training and practical skills testing at our National Training Centre, and workplace assessments.

  • Service Operations
  • Product Liability
  • Continuous Business Improvement

Qualifications

Upon completion of the 2 year Scheme, Service Advisor Apprentices will be awarded the following qualifications:

  • Toyota After Sales Service Advisor
  • IMI Service Operations Diploma
  • NVQ Level 3 in Customer Service
  • Key Skills Certificate
  • Advanced Apprenticeship Certificate
