Body Technician Apprenticeship Scheme
What its all about
Body Technicians along with Paint Technicians are the unsung heros of the Toyota Centre, as customers who need their services have usually been in an accident and had their vehicle damaged. This is where the Body Technician comes to the rescue. They are able to repair even the most extensive bodywork damage to the original factory specification, using some of the most advanced equipment in the motor industry.
You are:
- interested in a career in the retail motor industry
- able to listen carefully and respond to colleagues
- able to demonstrate an interest in computers and vehicle technology
- interested in a career using the latest and most hi-tech equipment
- willing to provide excellent service to our customers
- willing to be patient and show outstanding attention to detail
- able to show that you can work well as part of a team
- of suitable academic ability i.e. GCSE passes in Maths, English and Science
- willing to study hard on one of the industry's most advanced Apprenticeship Schemes
The qualifications you'll get
When you've finished the 3 year Scheme, you will be awarded the following qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Body & Paint Operations
- Advanced Apprenticeship Certificate
- IMI Technical Certificate
